Stop frame animators launch Bristol’s Clifton Village into the Metaverse
Clifton Village Productions, a company run by Aardman sculptor Debbie Smith and Emmy award-winning TV producer Richard Higgs are pleased to announce the launch of their new Web 3 project - a virtual Clifton village and a host of new stop-frame animation characters into the Metaverse – and beyond!
The project already boasts an “early” active community on Twitter and is set to launch its first open-edition animation this Friday.
The early Clifton Village Metaverse project plans
- Launching a PFP collection of village characters to populate the village.
- Launching several open editions that will merge to form the first full animation.
- An animated TV series.
- Short, animated films.
- Launching a virtual Clifton real estate sale.
Creative Director Richard Higgs quoted, “We are delighted to be bringing more animation magic to the Bristol animation scene, and we are hoping to interact with the vast and growing Web3 community”. He added:
“We see Clifton Village as a wonderful place that, when blended with our somewhat quirky characters, can catch the imagination and bring joy to the Metaverse and web 3”.
